Wednesday's Word With: Cindy

Cindy, of Wisconsin, owns her own accounting and tax service. "The next few months will be a busy season as I prepare taxes," Cindy said. "Usually, my husband and children will fend for themselves because I won't be getting home until the evening time." Despite the long hours she will put in, Cindy loves owning her own accounting and tax service.

Busymom: Please introduce yourself.

Cindy: I am Cindy, a mother to two girls and one boy. I own a small accounting and tax service. This will be my third year as owner. Parts of the year, I work on accounting and payroll services, and the other part is dedicated to tax season.

Busymom: Since you put in long hours during tax season, how do you find time to take care of yourself?

Cindy: I mentally prepare myself ahead of time knowing that I will put in long hours, and my husband will take care over some of my parenting duties. It is also a blessing that my children are old enough to take care of themselves. When I shower, I like to use shower gels. I always use moisturizers and lotions.

Busymom: What kind of advice would you like to give to busy moms?

Cindy: It is important to delegate. Don't feel guilty if you take a five minute break for a cup coffee.

Busymom: Thanks for your time to be with me today!

Despite Cindy's busy seasons, she manages to use moisturizers, lotions and shower gels. Top products can be found at Allizon.com. Don't forget to visit http://www.allizon.com to see some of the best products for busy moms online!

Busymom: How do you take care of yourself, so that you are able to fulfill these roles?

Jen: For starters, I keep things to do, appointments, events and etc. in a day planner because that helps me manage my time. My children also have certain chores they are responsible for doing and completing. Since they are teenagers, I am able to take showers, or go into my room to read a book. I also use moisturizers and lotions massage my skin.

Busymom: What kind of advice would you like to give to busy mothers?

Jen: Don't be afraid to ask for some time to yourself. You need it, so that you can filled with energy when doing your job or jobs. A happy mom makes a happy home. Your family's mood is affected by you--the mother.

Busymom: Thanks Jen for letting me interview you. Good luck with your school studies!

Wednesday's Word With: Tonya

Tonya, of New Mexico, is a work at home mother to a boy and a girl. She is a freelance writer. "I love being a work at home mom because as a freelance writer, I have more control of my hours--which is a good thing for my children," Tonya said. She is the mother to a three-year-old girl and one-year-old boy.

Busymom: Please introduce yourself.

Tonya: I am Tonya. I used to work as a writer in a company before becoming a freelance writer to stay at home with my children.

Busymom: How do you separate your work from your family, so that you can have time for yourself as well?

Tonya: I try to stick to a schedule, however with flexibility. I tend to work in the same room where my children are playing. I work part-time, so that I can fulfill the needs of my family. Once the children are in school, I will be working full-time. After three or fours of work, I quit and focus time on my family. Any work questions or issues wait until the next day. I also use a day planner religiously.

Busymom: Do you have time for yourself? If so, how?

Tonya: I use moisturizers and lotions on a daily basis. I love candles, not only do they smell beautiful--they relax.

Busymom: Do you have any advice you would like to give to busy moms?

Tonya: Don't be afraid to be flexible. That could be to your advantage.

Being flexible is a must for Tonya because this allows her to find a balance between work, family and for herself. She also tries to take time for herself on a daily basis by using moisturizers, lotions, and candles. Awesome items can be found at http://www.allizon.com/ .
